General

Your commission will be created in accordance with our creative team’s interpretation, strictly based on the references you provide to us prior to the commencement of the work.
If you require or envision a specific outcome, please ensure that any references and instructions for our team are thoroughly prepared in advance and sent prior to payment.
Should you provide limited references or fill out our form briefly, anything non-specified will be created at our discretion and creative freedom.

We will download a copy of your references to work from prior to commencing the work. Any changes in the direction of the commission or your references after invoicing will incur additional fees.
Please note that we have specific art and design styles that are constantly evolving, and the final discretion rests with our creative team’s interpretation of your references and the original brief.
We may use assets that we commercially own when creating parts of your work.

All work is completed by experienced artists/designers who are contracted to and part of our studio. We strive to optimize for the highest quality, but we cannot guarantee that mistakes will not occur by individual creators as we are all human. We will always do our best to rectify the situation, and all contractors are obligated to indemnify the studio for any potential issues that may arise with any commissions they undertake.

Should you be dissatisfied with the work at any time, please discuss the matter directly with our team rather than third parties. We will do our best to reach a mutually beneficial resolution.

Complex Works

We reserve the right to decline complex works.
Works that are deemed too complex may be subject to additional fees, which will be discussed further with us.
We reserve the right to refuse to work on any content we choose not to engage with, without providing a reason.

Payments

All payments or currency shown are in USD and are to be made via PayPal (with a +5% Handling Fee) or Stripe (coming soon).
Payment is required upfront before we begin any work on your commission.
All invoices must be paid within 48 hours, or your commission may be canceled. Please contact us if you need additional time.
Once an invoice is sent and you have made a payment but no work was done yet (48 hours after your payment arrived), you may cancel the project and request a refund, however the refund fee will be charged on our behalf.
Refunds and cancellations are not possible once we have collected payment, as the processes for your work will have commenced.
Any individuals who initiate a chargeback or request refunds without first attempting to amicably resolve the situation (especially after the work has already begun or been completed) will be blacklisted and banned.

Deliverables

All static assets will be provided as .PNG files, and all animated assets will be delivered as .WEBM files for streaming usage.
Schedule designs will be delivered as .PSD files for editing purposes.
Some animated files may be delivered as .MOV files for editing purposes.
Depending on what is commissioned and the price paid, there will be a set number of revisions or updates available.
Our standard revisions range from 1 to 3 per deliverable. Please contact us for exact amounts. You may purchase additional revisions if possible.
Revisions for previous stages cannot occur once a stage has been confirmed.

Timeline

Once the invoice is paid, the timeline begins.
Our standard output window ranges from 2 weeks to 2 months from the payment date for the commission to be completed.
We do not guarantee deadlines. Please inform us if there is a deadline, and we can discuss the details further.
Complex work, requests, or delays in client communication may extend the output window.
Updates are typically provided prior to proceeding with animation.
We require confirmation of approval within 72 hours of receiving updates/revisions.
Should we not hear back within 72 hours, we will pause the project until further notice – you have 10 days to respond.
There will be no refunds issued if communication is ceased prior to completion of service.
Timelines depend on the client adhering to review timelines, and any failure to do so will result in corresponding delays in delivery.
We reserve the right to cancel, refund, or decline any commissions at any stage for any reason.
Rush orders are available and will fast-track the order to the front of the queue.
Once orders are approved for final delivery, it may take up to 48 hours to provide the approved assets.
Please download your project files and save a copy in a safe location within one (1) month of delivery.
All commissions may be erased from our servers one (1) month after delivery. Please ensure you have saved a copy of your assets once the downloads are available.

License & Copyright

Please only supply art that you own and have permission to modify and use as part of our graphics.
Upon submitting any reference material, including but not limited to art, graphics, or images, for our team to edit or use with your commission, you are acknowledging legal ownership of said assets and providing a license or authorizing Antihero Design to utilize the assets for the creative work and to publish any of the assets together with the work we’ve created for you.
Antihero Design owns all copyright to the designs we have created, and we are allowed to publish any designs made for our training, quality assurance, social media, website, marketing, or portfolio usage.
You are not allowed to resell or claim any work done by us as your own.
